Navajo Mission Update
2017 Bowie Baptist Association Navajo Nation Mission Trip
We're Getting Close!
As I write, we are exactly one month away from this year's Navajo Nation mission trip. I spoke with Pastor Lance at Window Rock yesterday. He said the church is look forward to our visit. Foot care and VBS locations are locked in. Lance says he is still working through the carpentry projects, but those should be settled within a week. Beth Little is taking the lead preparing for VBS (Thank you, Beth). Donna Jordan is again our team leader for foot care. Our carpentry guys will organize once we hear from Lance. Rex Roberts is our primary bus driver.
Our next meeting will be next Tuesday, May 30th, 6:30 PM, at Oaklawn Baptist. I don't expect a long meeting. Let me know if you cannot make it.
Beyond this, I need your help with the following items.
Transportation
I cannot settle whether we are taking the large or small bus from FBC Wake Village until I know who intends to take their own vehicle. If you intend to take your personal vehicle, please contact me. Include whomever is traveling with you.

Our Next Navajo Mission Trip Meeting
The next meeting for all going on the trip will be Tuesday, May 30 at 6:30 PM, at Oaklawn Baptist Church. If you cannot make it, please let me know. Also, if you are still unsure whether or not you are going, please confirm with me by then. We have decisions to make on projects and meals that require our final numbers.
One more thing. PRAY. Pray that the Lord would prepare you to honor Him through your service. Pray for your teammates, drivers, and those who we will minister to. Pray that God will touch your life through the trip. Pray for safety and provision. And pray that all we do would bring Him glory.
See you soon!
