Tustumena Elementary Newsletter
December 15, 2015
Greetings to All,
This has been an incredible semester. I can not believe it is already over. Your children are truly a blessing to be around. We have had Christmas concerts and line dancers plus we are about to celebrate with our annual Reindeer Games. This is a wonderful time of year. A little more snow and we will be all set.
You have heard me say it before, and I am sure you will hear me say it again, but I am very thankful for this community and the wonderful staff and students at Tustumena Elementary. This school is the Camelot of elementary schools. Thank you for all you do to make it such a great place to live and work.
From my family to all of yours, Merry Christmas to all, and have a Happy New Year!
Sincerely,
Doug Hayman
Health tip from Mrs. Abel
“Laughter, often the result of a good sense of humor and a positive attitude, is believed to decrease stress levels and improve resistance to disease. Some studies show the average 4-year-old laughs more than 300 times per day, while the average adult laughs less than 20 times per day. Seeking out humor can improve your health!”
Huge "Thank you," to Kenai Line Dancers
We had a great assembly hosted by our friends, the Kenai Line Dancers. Thank you to:
Betty Stephenson, Nadine Gabbett, Loraine Cruse, Patsy Clifford, Betty Truesdell, and Lin Wheeler.
