Trojan Times Elementary Update
For the week of September 25th-28th
Act and Adjust
Below is the message I shared with our students on Thursday morning:
WEEKLY RECAP
Fifth graders were learning about the makeup of cells. They were working on a class project will asked them to create a cell out of candy and other tasty treats. The creativity of the cell design was excellent. While the students enjoyed eating the leftovers, they did also share some examples of what each part of the cell was responsible for. It was a fun activity!
I also popped into both kindergarten classrooms and watched them practice their reading skills. I'm always blown away by the energy and passion for learning that our kindergarteners bring to the table! :)
