We have free fiction and nonfiction books! Come check them out and take what you want! They will be available until March 7 on carts in the LMC!

Book Fair March 10-14

We will be having a book fair from March 10 until March 14 in the LMC. We will be showing the book fair video on the head-in unit on March 6 during homeroom. Make sure to come check at what's at the fair! Books can also be purchased online from today through March 17 at:

Truman Award Voting

Students who completed 4 quizzes on Truman Award nominees will be able to vote for their favorite one. The voting will take place the week of book fair, March 10-14. Students will vote with their ELA classes as the come to the book fair.

Next Year's Truman Award Nominees are Announced

The following titles will be next year's Truman Award nominees: Dead City by James Ponti, Ungifted by Gordon Korman, See You At Harry's by Jo Knowles, Elemental by Antony John, The Raft by S.A. Bodeen, Cinder by Marissa Meyer, Unstoppable by Tim Green, Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo, Insignia by S.J. Kincaid, The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen, Curveball: the Year I Lost My Grip by Jordan Sonnenblick, and One for the Murphys by Lynda Mullaly Hunt.

Use eBooks to teach about Text Features!
