Please make your appointments now if your child does not have their information updated yet. Click on this link for more information and access to forms.
All completed forms must be turned into the School Health Office. Forms may be dropped off in our school office between the hours of 7:00-4:00.
Please reach out to our wonderful school nurse, Kathy Bustamante (kbustamante@rtsd26.org), with any questions regarding Health Requirements.

Also, please make sure your child has a refillable water bottle. We have plastic cups in case of an emergency, but these supplies are also running low...and are not great for the environment!

--Reminders--
A Note from Our Director of Innovation & Technology
Parent Schoology Accounts: Parents/families of 4th-8th grade students were sent an access code for Schoology. They also were provided these instructions, which explain how to sign up and/or access their Parent Schoology account.
Remote Technology Support: Families can submit a Remote Technology Support Ticket through Incident IQ for their child. The link can be found on the district website under the Parents tab. They can also submit a ticket by logging into Incident IQ with their child’s login information.
Parent Alcohol Prevention Campaign
From our Link Together partners:
It is not uncommon for parents to feel a burden when it comes to discussing the risks of alcohol
with their kids. If you are feeling your own hesitations and concerns, know that you are not alone.
While this topic can feel challenging, it is a conversation that still needs to happen. Youth will
hear about alcohol from someone, and it is best they hear about it from their parent or guardian.
Not every family or child-parent dynamic is the same, but there are helpful pointers for every
parent to keep in mind when having talks around underage drinking.
Wellness & Safety Reminders
✷If a household member is/has gotten tested for COVID-19, DO NOT send any other household members to school until you receive NEGATIVE test results. For example, if big brother was tested for COVID-19 on Sunday and little brother feels fine, do not send little brother to school on Monday. Big brother can return after a negative COVID test result and no more symptoms. Little brother can return after big brother has negative COVID test result.
✷Students with the following symptoms may have COVID-19 and cannot attend school. You should report the absence and symptoms to school:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
SHIELD SALIVA TESTING
Students will be supported by their teachers and other support staff as they go to the testing location (an open hallway corridor) together as a class. Students will remain 6+ feet apart while their masks are lowered.
Remember, you will only be contacted about your child's test results if the results are positive. NO news is GOOD news.
Please support your child with a positive outlook about the experience, build an understanding of what they will do, and help them to know this is a way to help the grown-ups do an even better job keeping the children safe.
