A Veterinarian is a person who wokes with other people to treat and care for various different types of animals. A vet has to love being wih people and animals to stride as a vet because thats mainly the two things that they work with in there day to day job as a Vet.
What does a Veterinarian do?
A Veterinarian treats animals for health care and injuries. they Examine animals to determine what is wrong, teach animal owners how to care for their animal, prescribe medication, set broken bones, and bandage wounds,collect body samples for examination and analysis, give animals shots to prevent various diseases,train and supervise workers who handle and care for animals, and study dead animals to determine why they died.
What is required to be a Veterinarian?
Education: Prospective veterinarians must graduate with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M. or V.M.D.) degree from a 4-year program at an accredited college of veterinary medicine.
