The opportunity to meet and hear from a person that has written and illustrated a few!

Bookworm Central in concert, with Schenell Agee, Supervisor, Library Media Programs and Research extends a special invitation to meet and talk with Rashin Kheiriyeh. She is an internationally recognized, award-winning illustrator/author, animation director, and painter who has published Fifty Eight children’s books in France, Italy, Japan, Germany, Spain, South Korea, China, India, Iran and the United States.
Ms. Kheiriyeh has a Ph.D in Children's Book Illustration from Tehran, Iran and a MFA in Graphic Design from Alzahra University,Tehran, Iran. She also studied at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York.
She currently is on the faculty at the College of Art & Humanities, University of Maryland and Art Director at Quotabelle Inc. in Virginia. Rashin enjoys illustrating for the New York Times and many other publication houses around the world. Join us as Mrs. Kheiriyeh shares how she creates magic for all to enjoy!
