Open Loop
Open loop looks at it's input system in order to decide what to do. It takes no account to what happens in its output system.
Examples of Open Loop systems:
When you set the microwave to cook your food for 2 minutes , after cooking for 2 minutes , the control system turns the microwave off whether its still frozen or not.
Sensors
A sensor is a device that converts a real-world property (e.g. temperature) into data that a computer can process.
Actuators
An actuator is a device, controlled by a computer, that can affect the real-world.
