Gladiator News
Dr. Hector P. Garcia Middle School
February 27- March 3, 2017
This week our 8th graders entered their course selections for high school. The high school will mail a copy of the course selections to the student's home in the near future. Any changes would be handled through the high school counseling office.
Report cards will be issued on Thursday, March 2nd due to our early release on Friday, March 3rd. Students may wear their PE uniform to school on Friday. (Backpacks are not needed.) Students will participate in three rotations: physical fitness, writing, and math. They will also receive a Gladiator GRIT lesson on integrity. Our 7th graders will receive a Bahama Bucks sno cone for being the winners of Gladiator Games in October!
Our attendance is on the rise, which means everyone is feeling better! We are hopeful that our Gladiators can begin the spring time illness free!
Good luck to our choir students as they compete in UIL this week!
