50 Excellent Reasons to Read
Starting this week the library will be sponsoring a Read Across America program.
The goal of this activity is to fill the map in the foyer with book labels.
Each label will have the name of the book with a setting from that state, as well as the name of the student who read the book.
The first 10 students to retell their story to Mrs. Griffis, from a book they checked out in the library, will get a prize.
Pre-K-1st grade - it is okay if someone reads the book to you. Just tell Mrs. Griffis what it was all about and which state the story took place in!
This program will last until the end of the school year, or when all the states have been 'booked'!
See Mrs. Griffis if you have any questions or visit the Virtual Library anytime to get more details.
