News from this week
Dear Parents,
We had a busy week tying up loose ends, and I think that we are all ready for Spring Break! The students had a great time sharing their sound projects. They came up with some really fabulous ideas and some of them I really want for myself!
As you know, students are working on book club, and they will complete their last assignment over Spring Break. Remember this reading counts for their 20 minutes a day and that is all they should need to finish the work.
Today is the last day to order a yearbook! No extra yearbooks will be available.

Picture proofs came home yesterday. If you would like to keep them please send in payment. If not, please send the proofs back in. Thanks!
Below is a link where you can explore the Georgia Milestones platform with your child. We took a look at it this week.

I also registered all students into a program called Education Galaxy. This is a program that reviews all standards that were taught this year in each subject. It will be accessible until the end of the school year. Student log in information is located in your child's agenda. I also have instructions on my eClass page on what their logins should be There is also a yellow hand out with their log in information located in the Friday Folder. To access the program you can click on the link below or scroll to the bottom of my e-class page.
The Georgia Milestones dates are listed below. Please try to make sure that these dates are on your calendar to avoid scheduling appointments or trips on these testing days. It is always best when students are able to test with their class. Our testing will start promptly at 8:30 on these days. Please be sure that your child arrives on time on these days. If your child eats breakfast at school please have them arrive by 8AM, so they have time to eat before we head to our testing room. (Instruction begins at 8:15 daily in our classroom.) With all of the schedule changes during testing days, we ask that you do not plan to eat with your child from April 11-April 27th. Thank you for your consideration.
