Parent Input for Class Placement for 2022-2023 School Year
We value and welcome your insights regarding your child’s learning needs. We will use the information from the input form in collaboration with staff input as we create the framework for class placements for next year. We assign students to classes that are academically, behaviorally, and socially balanced.
We respectfully ask that you do not request a specific teacher.
If you are wanting to provide input into the class placement for your child, please submit this form no later than Friday, April 29th.

Attention 5th Grade Families!
We have multiple celebratory events coming up for our fifth grade students as they pass the milestone of completing elementary school and moving up to middle school.
Fifth Grade Ceremony: We are looking forward to celebrating our fifth grade students by having a ceremony on campus that families will attend during the school day. We could use help from families with the costs (décor, certificates, refreshments…) or volunteering their time by helping to set up for this event. All donations made to the Maltby PTO are tax deductible.
Fifth Grade Celebration/party: This is an adult planned and funded event that is held outside of school hours. In previous years they have done outdoor games, inflatables, etc. We will need adults to help with the planning and putting on the event.
Are you willing to help? If so, please share your information with us by completing this form by Tuesday, April 26th. Thank you for making these events special for our 5th graders!
Digital Learning
The students at Maltby love their Digital Learning class! We wanted to let you know that our current Digital Learning teacher, Lori Clark will be out for the remainder of the school year. Lori has done an amazing job teaching our students and we look forward to her return in the fall. In the meantime, we have a temporary position for a Digital Learning teacher for the remainder of this year. If you know anyone who might be interested in that position, they can access the job posting here.
