Halloween Fun
On Halloween students were invited to wear their costumes to school. Each classroom had a turn trick-or-treating in the hallways. Each classroom had fun games to play on that day including wrapping their friends up like mummies, building gates for their pumpkins, and cutting open pumpkins to see what was inside. They had a lot of Halloween fun!

Who Are We?
The foyer and gym at PSMS have a fresh, new look that highlights who we are. New mats in school colors grace the gym walls. New decals in center court and on the walls remind other teams who they are playing. Letters on the gym doors reiterate our name. A new rug greets visitors as they enter our building. There is now no doubt who we are - WE ARE THE JAGUARS!

Veterans Day
On Thursday the Plymouth North History Department and Student Council hosted a Veterans Day Assembly. We were privileged to host members of the Plymouth Community that served in the armed forces. Thank you to everyone that helped to make this a special day for our honored guests. These men and women deserved a heartwarming celebration for their dedication to our great country. The event included inspirational speakers Alex South (Marines) and Fred King (Air National Guard). Alex spoke about the importance of the flag and women in the military and Fred spoke about his time in Vietnam and the importance of family.
French Exchange
French students at both Plymouth North and Plymouth South are making the most of this year's French Exchange with students from the Lycée Saint Jean in Pauillac, France. The French group arrived on Sunday, October 27th and will be in Plymouth through Thursday, November 7th. Participating students from both groups enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared by Plymouth South culinary students and enjoyed learning about some of the history of Plymouth during a scavenger hunt downtown. The French students have been attending classes alongside their Plymouth host students and are taking advantage of this opportunity to fully immerse themselves in both the language and culture of our community.
The hosting portion of this year's French Exchange is coming to an end. Students and host families have spent the past 10 days sharing their culture, language and experiences with our visiting group from Lycée Saint Jean in Pauillac, France. The French group enjoyed spending Halloween in Plymouth and participated in group excursions to Plimoth Plantation, Harvard University, and Faneuil Hall in addition to the many different experiences they shared within their host families. Students will soon say "au revoir" but they will look forward to seeing each other again when the Plymouth French Exchange group travels to France this April!
