Tipton Cross Country Invitational

Thank you all for being a part of the 2020 Tipton Invitational. Below you will find information about the event. Please be sure to get your athletes registered by September 26th so our timer can set up the race.

When you arrive please find an area in the field that allows for as much social distancing as possible. The Start line has changed from last year. Please refer to the map below to see the course. This year we will have one boys race, followed by one girls race.

Entry Fee/Registration Instructions

$35 entry fee + $5 per runner registered.

There is no limit to the number of runners you can register; however, only the top 7 from each team will score. 5th grade runners may participate, but will not be scored for the team or individual honors.

Timing of Events:

5:00- Coaches meeting at Softball fields

5:15- Boys race participants report to the starting line.

5:30- Boys race begins

5:45- Girls report to the starting line.

6:00- Girls Race Begins

6:30- Awards (with coaches only)

Coaches: Please do your best to have athletes "ready to go" at the desired start time. If you have any issues, please contact Craig Leach (765)490-6584 as soon as possible.

COVID-19 Guidelines

While we know that each school has their own plans for adhering to CDC and state health department guidelines, we are asking that all athletes, coaches, and spectators adhere to the following guidelines:

- Wear a mask whenever social distancing cannot be observed. (Athletes should wear mask until they are called to the start line)

-Maintain social distancing as much as possible, and be mindful of the distance fans approach runners on the course. (We will have a coaches meeting at 5:00. Coaches should space out on the stands at the softball diamond)

- Stay home if you are feeling ill.

- There is not a water source by the course. Athletes should bring their own labeled water bottles.


The following awards will be given to coaches at the conclusion of the girls race. In order to maintain social distancing, we will not have an awards ceremony as we have in the past.

Individual Medals for Races; 1st-3rd Place (Boys and Girls)

Individual Ribbons 1st -10th (Boys and Girls)
