McNear Falcon Flyer
Keeping Us Connected with Campus and PTA News
Dear McNear Falcons,
How many years did we pack into one year? Or was Spring Break, Summer Break? This historic year has been fast and slow, busy and mellow. We are grateful for all that we have learned, for the ways we came together as a community and for the hope of a new year to come.
Our teachers have planned many fun activities for your students throughout the final school days that spark joy, provide some closure for their students, and begin to build some excitement for next year! Please continue to help us all stay safe with frequent hand washing, masking and distancing.
Petaluma City Schools will be back to full in-person instruction for 2021-22! Students will come back for the first day of school on August 17th. More information to come! Stay up-to-date by following PCS on social media or going to our district website at www.petalumacityschools.org.
Thank you again for your resilience, patience, compassion, and dedication this year.
Well wishes and gratitude,
Principal Eichert

PCS Oversight Committees Need Your Input
Call For Volunteers
Our Bond and Parcel Tax funds contribute to building projects and special programs. We are seeking volunteers for PCS bond and parcel tax committees. These groups verify that these special funds have been spent appropriately. Committee Members participate in 1-2 meetings per year and contribute to annual reports. They must also be active in a business, senior, or taxpayer organization, be a parent/guardian of a PCS student, or be a parent/guardian in a Petaluma City Schools PTA or School Site Council.
For more information or to apply, contact Lori Hirasa at lhirasa@petk12.org or 707-778-4621 OR visit https://www.petalumacityschools.org/oversight.
Open House: Successes and Hopes

Thank you for joining and participating in our Virtual Open House. If one more Zoom wasn't in the cards, please enjoy the slides linked above and video. Read through our padlet comments and some of your own successes and hopes as well: https://padlet.com/leichert/1y07a2av2y0c1hvi
