- Dec. 19th is Staff appreciation luncheon hosted by the second grade families and the PTA.
- Next general PTA meeting is scheduled for Jan. 14th, in the library. See everyone there.
- Jan. 20th is Focus Day in Olympia, WA. Join the PTA in discussion of top 5 most pressing issues with state legislatures.
- ACE classes for the winter session begin Jan 29th. Information packets and updates coming home next.
- Save the Date ~ Feb. 28th is Woodin Elementary's Multi-Cultural Night at WHS. See PTA website to RSVP.
The holiday gift card drive is currently underway, leave donation cards with Nurse Deb or in the Black PTA box in the office, denominations of $5,10,20 much appreciated. Thank you!
Math Challenge #6
Available Dec. 13th at 3:00pm. Due Thursday, Dec. 19th.
Winners, randomly drawn from qualified entries (students that correctly answer the proper amount of questions for their grade level), will receive a Snowman Pen.
Math Challenge program is a free, school-wide math enrichment program for elementary students consisting of series of challenging and interesting math problems provided to each school. Family and friends are encouraged to work together on the challenge. This is meant to be a fun, extracurricular math, not a chore or extra homework.
Please correctly solve the proper number of math problems for your grade for your chance to win the prize.
Teachers receive copies of the math challenge in their school mailbox for students in their class that are interested in completing the challenge. There are also printouts available in the PTA section of the main office, or you can print online at:
