BES LIBRARY INFORMATION & RESOURCES
Braddock Eagle Library Blog - all the latest happenings in the BES Library!
Trade Books - we have great curriculum books in science and social studies. These books are housed in the library in Mrs. Song's office opposite the circulation desk.
Library Online Catalog - available 24/7 anytime, anyplace! If the BES library does not have the book you need, we are happy to borrow the book from another library via inter-library loan.
Library Book Recommendations or Requests - the BES library is our learning community's library, so if there is a title you think we should have or a great book you can recommend, please let us know and we will be happy to add it to our collection.
Library Databases - amazing online research databases and digital books are available 24/7 from any location. Databases require a password/user name which will be distributed via e-mail.
Professional Collection & Magazines - many resources for professional development.
Pinterest: BES Library Resources: Back To School, Hopes & Dreams - tons of education resources!
Recorded Books & Listening Centers - we have lots of great book sets (CD + two books) for listening centers. We are also the place to go for listening centers and headphones.
BES Library Reminders
Open Checkout - the times marked OPEN on the schedule are a great time to send students in pairs or small groups of four or less. These students may have finished their library books early or they may have been absent during their special.
Library Schedule - the OPEN blocks are times the library and/or librarian may be reserved for class research, a collaborative lesson, whatever is needed.
