Introducing FastBridge Universal Screener
FastBridge Learning has replaced Renaissance Learning–Star Assessment as its K-8 universal screener this 17-18 academic year. The FastBridge universal screener is not an additional assessment but rather an update of an assessment screening resource that has been previously used by Fulton County Schools. Universal screening assessments are brief and always conducted with students on grade level. This is so that teachers can learn if students are below, at, or above grade level standards. Additionally, specific students’ strengths and weaknesses are identified through screening. The assessment data is used by teachers and schools to make sound decisions in improving instructional programs and provide teachers a focus to personalize learning for each and every child to grow. It is the school’s mission to provide learning remediation and enrichment experiences that will lead to all students learning at or above grade level.
Next RFF Day is October 5th- No school for students

The Summit
We would like to introduce everyone to “The Summit”. The Summit is the combination of The Leader in Me Lighthouse team and the PBIS team. The Summit will continue to follow the same principles of both TLIM and PBIS programs. We are excited to announce the use of a houses program to promote and practice these foundational skills.
The Summit Houses program will entail:
4 Houses (Blue, White, Gray, Black)
Students will collect PAWS for house points.
PAWS are earned for exhibiting the 7 Habits.
Houses will compete for the most points.
The House with the most points at the end of the year will earn a celebration.
