Message From The Principal
Good Afternoon Stoller Families,
Happy New Year to you and your family. I want to say "Thank You" to the entire Soller Community for the support you continue to provide our students and staff. We are starting 2022 with challenges all its own, but I am confident that with grace and compassion Stoller Students and Staff will remain strong.
As you know, keeping students and staff safe is a priority for all of us at Stoller. Here are a few reminders and to let you know about some new procedures we have implemented.
Masks must be worn at all times while in the building, except when actively eating or drinking. The mask needs to be worn so that it covers the mouth and nose. Please make sure that your student's mask fits properly. If your student needs a mask when they arrive at school, please have them to come to the office.
To make tracking COVID cases easier, please read the information below regarding the updated procedures when reporting COVID information to the school.
Understand that on a typical day our Attendance Line receives about 40 messages, this week we received on average 95 messages each day. Because of this, we are asking that you only use the attendance line to let us know if your student is going to be absent for the entire day. You do not need to leave a message if your student is arriving late or leaving early. Late arrivals will be excused with a note signed by the parent/guardian. Early releases will be excused when you pick up your student.
2022 may not be starting the way we all had hoped, but I know that working together, we will persevere. If you have any concerns, please reach out to our staff.
Important News

Currently, almost 200 students per day are either absent or leaving early. This is causing our Attendance Desk to not always get the records updated until after 3:30pm when the auto generated phone calls and emails are sent.
If you receive a call/email but have excused your student's absence, please know it will be taken care of by the following day.
If you receive a call/email but did not excuse your student's absence, please notify the Attendance Desk by calling 503-356-2681.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Stoller COVID Reporting

Attendance Procedure Update
Beginning in 2022 we are asking that parents not utilize the attendance line or email to let us know if your student is arriving late or leaving early. Late arrivals and early dismissals need to be taken care of when the y happen since they are not something we can add to the attendance system in advance.
If you student is arriving late, you can either send them to the door with a signed note excusing the missed time or you can walk them to the door and sign them in. Either way, any missed time will be updated and marked excused.
If your student needs to leave early, please come to the Main Office and sign them out. After we check your ID we will call your student down to the office and release them to you. Please allow us 10-15 minutes to get your student and try to avoid picking up after 3:30 if possible. We are not able to have students waiting in the office, so please do not text them asking that they be ready for you when you arrive.

Immunization Exclusion Day
Immunization Exclusion Day will be Wednesday, February 16th, 2022. Immunization parent notification letters were mailed earlier this week. The front page of the letter tells you the immunizations that our records indicate your child is missing. The back page shows your child's immunization status. Please note your child’s updated immunization status or exemptions must be completed and returned to the school by Tuesday, February 15th, 2022. All students with incomplete vaccine records will be excluded from school starting Wednesday, February 16th, 2022.

Please note, you will receive a letter in the mail if your child’s immunization records are incomplete. If you do not receive a letter, your child’s immunizations are up-to-date, and no further action is required on your part. Parents can view immunization records in their ParentVUE accounts at any time.
If you received a letter in the mail regarding immunizations, you need to complete one of the following actions prior to February.
