Hodgins Library is very proud to announce that Kwame Alexander, 2015 Newbery Medal Winner for The Crossover, will visit MJS on Tuesday, April 12 at 9:05 am. Mr. Alexander will discuss the award-winning The Crossover and the critically acclaimed Booked with grades 4th-8th. Kwame Alexander is a poet, children's book author, playwright, producer, public speaker and performer. He conducts creative writing workshops in schools, often reaching more than 500 students monthly.
