Turua School 8th December 2022

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Welcome to the final newsletter for 2022. It was great to see so many of you at the Wearable Arts event and I know our students really enjoyed the opportunity to share their creations. Thanks to the PTA for the opportunity to purchase the American Hot Dogs. They were a big hit!

Just to let you know that class lists will be posted on the office window from Monday and students will have the opportunity to join their new classes for an end of year visit on Tuesday.

Thank you to our school community who have been so very supportive. We wish you a Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you on Wednesday 1st February 2023.

Our last day for the year is Wednesday 14th December and we close at 12 noon. The bus will do a pick up at 12 for those that require it.

SWIMMING POOL KEYS

These are now available at the School Office. Please ensure you have returned your previous season's key as there are still some outstanding. The cost of the Key is $50 with a $10 bond required and refunded on the return of the key.

The swimming season will start from Wednesday 11th January. Hopefully the weather will be a little warmer.

PRIZE GIVING

Our end of year prize Giving takes place on Monday at 1.00pm in the school hall. Everyone is welcome. Individual reports will also be distributed on Monday for students to take home.

Yummy Stickers

Thank you to everyone who has brought in Yummy Stickers this year! Everyone’s contributions have allowed us to order new sports equipment! A special thank you to the Way family as they have contributed hundreds of Yummy Stickers this year. We will be sending home sticker collection sheets to all families next year, the more we collect, the more sports equipment we can get!
