Factories During The 19th Century

Working today is usually very safe. The government has made laws saying that employers have to look after the workforce and provide safety equipment and other things for them. None of these laws were enforced during the industrial revolution so therefore it was unsafe for people to work in the factories. The lightning in the factories were very poor and so was the ventilation. also they never had any training in case of a emergency like a fire or a accident.

The Factories Were Not Safe

During the industrial revolution the factories were very dangerous for humans to work in. It was hot, they had very poor lightning, the ventilation was terrible. People were working in these conditions for 12 hours or more with maybe a hour break, with little top no pay. Maybe 100 dollars a year per person.
