This Friday marks the return of our annual NP3 Treasure Chest Multicultural Fest. Please join us for a night of music, fashion, food, and memories. Doors open at 5:50 pm. See the attached flyer for more information.
We also have a PTA Meeting at 6:oo pm on Thursday in our library. Hope to see you there.

FIFTH AND EIGHTH GRADE FAMILIES ONLY:
Please complete this Intent to Return Form by Friday, March 8th in order to secure your spot at NP3 for the 2024-2025 school year. Please note: we are only asking families to complete the Intent to Return form if your student is currently in 5th or 8th grade - intent to return will not be required for students in other grade levels.
PLAYWELL LEGO/STEM AFTERSCHOOL CLASS:
We're excited to offer two new courses beginning in April. The after school classes are STEM based and LEGO inspired. The Monday class will be K-2 from 2:30-4:00 and 3rd-5th is Wednesday from 1:00-2:30. The classes are limited so don't wait to sign up. Both start the first week back from Break.

LCAP PARENT/FAMILY SURVEY:

NP3 Elementary Coffee Crew Donation List
Every Wednesday, our NP3 students contribute to making NP3 Elementary a great place to be by participating in WOW (Work on Wig Wednesdays) Crews. Students collaborate with staff to identify school needs. One (VERY POPULAR) crew is our Coffee Crew. The Coffee Crew makes coffee, tea, and treats for staff. Students deliver the drinks and snacks with sweet notes. To continue this crew, we need help. Please consider donating to Coffee Crew's Amazon List OR donating disposable cups, creamers, cookies, and sweet treats to the office.

ELA - Our big project this week has been around reading and writing stories where animals are the main characters. We are creating, editing and publishing our own collection of original narrative stories.
Math - Module 7 - Finishing the module - Displaying measurement Data, answering questions regarding data on graphs. We will complete the unit work and assessment by Friday. (3/8)
NOTE: a Math Review packet was sent home in the Friday Folder on 3/1.

WORD STUDY - Weekly words to Explore (Listed in the picture below)- Here are some words we will be working for this week. There will not be a test on these words. They are simply a suggestion of words you can use at home to reinforce vocabulary we are learning in class. These words can be used to practice writing, reading, decoding by chunking, sorting, defining, spelling and writing in a sentence.
