Science Olympiad
We are so excited for this year's Science Olympiad Team! Science Olympiad is a national organization dedicated to promoting science, and the coaches at King Springs are interested in motivated students who are interested in joining the team. This team is a competition team. Science Olympiad is not a club, it is an academic, competition team. Students will be asked to not only practice at school, but at home as well.
This year our team will consist of twenty motivated and highly qualified students. According to Science Olympiad rules, the team can consist of third, fourth and fifth graders with a maximum of eight fifth graders. We will select the best combination of third, fourth and fifth grade students to insure King Springs a strong, competitive team.
For more information and for an application, please visit http://kingsprings.typepad.com/science_olympiad/.

Every year students have the opportunity to earn a Six Flags ticket just by logging 6 hours of reading. The reading log will be sent home next week. All logs are due by February 27th. (By the way...how is your child doing with the 100 Book Club Challenge???)
