Tax Information
As you prepare for upcoming tax season, FACTS allows you to print records of tuition payments. We will not be mailing out statements this year. Please follow the attached EOY Instructions as this will give you a breakdown of all monies paid in 2022 for tuition, childcare and other incidental charges. Scrip
KWIK STAR Program Change: Kwik Star joined the scrip program several years ago, offering a 4% rebate, which is the largest rebate of any gas station. Beginning January 1, they've added a new grocery only card, which has a 10% rebate!
The new grocery cards come in a $25 denomination and can be reloaded, just like the current scrip cards. Use them to purchase in-store products only, EXCEPT tobacco, alcohol, gift cards, lottery/lotto and stamps. The current gas and gift cards can still be used for anything, including gas, grocery items, car washes, tobacco, alcohol, gift cards, lottery/lotto and stamps. Just know that all purchases made with the old cards will have a 4% rebate.
So if you regularly buy grocery items inside the store, please consider purchasing one of the new, reloadable Kwik Star grocery cards! We have a nice selection of FREE fabric gift card holders, which you can use to safely store your two types of Kwik Star scrip cards!
Contact Paula, your scrip coordinator, if you have questions or would like a gift card holder - (319) 329-6829.

Athletics Partnership with Regis Continues to Grow
Next year LaSalle will be combining with Regis for Volleyball, Girls and Boys Basketball, and Girls and Boys Soccer in addition to Cross Country, Football, Wrestling and Track and Field. With the changing landscape of athletics and school dynamics within our conference and to ensure that all student athletes are playing meaningful competitions at their developmental level, our schools have been working together to ensure the best outcomes for our kids.
We will be holding an information session at both LaSalle and Regis to present the reasons that have led us to this decision and to answer any questions that you might have as we transition into a new and exciting time for our student athletes. Dates for the information sessions will be given at a later date but will be held after spring break.
We continue to strive for excellence in our schools and thank you for the sacrifices your families make.
God bless you!

Miss Cooling's 3rd Grade Service Learning Project
As part of their service project, Miss Cooling's 3rd grade students have received some wonderful donations of blankets and comforters that they are collecting to donate to the Dogs Forever Shelter. Thank you to all the donors so far, and we hope to receive even more before the month of January is over! The students certainly appreciate your generosity, and just knowing how many dogs and puppies will benefit from these donations makes them feel very happy.
3rd Grade Service Learning Project
CAN YOU HELP US WITH OUR SERVICE LEARNING PROJECT?
NO MONEY INVOLVED!!!!
Are you looking for a way to get rid of blankets and comforters you don’t use anymore?
Written by 3rd grade students (Miss Cooling’s Class)
Dear Students and Parents at Lasalle Elementary,
We are working on a Service Learning project. Our 3rd grade class decided to help an animal shelter that needs blankets and comforters for animals beds. If you have gently used blankets or comforters you can send them with your child after Christmas Break. We will accept them through the end of January!!! We will have a drop-off box in the hallway by the office at the Lasalle Elementary( K-4) building. The blankets and comforters should be washed but PLEASE DO NOT buy new ones, we only want donated old ones. We thank you for helping us and appreciate your donations!
Thank you for helping the animals at the shelter get what they need!

Quick and Easy Fundraisers
There are several quick and easy things we can do to help raise funds for LaSalle Catholic! These are all year-round!
- Coke Rewards: Type in the code under the bottle cap or scan in the bar code on your Coke product. Currently listed as Holy Family.
- HyVee Receipts: We are collecting receipts dated 4/1/2022 through 3/31/2023 for the current promotion. Our volunteer that tallies the receipts requests that you turn in receipts as you get them and not hold onto them until March!

- Casey’s Rewards: Currently listed as Holy Family School - St. Jude Center.
- Box Tops for Education: Currently listed under St. Jude Holy Family.
