Teach the World
Change lives & educate the world, become a Physics teacher!
LETS DO IT!
Physics Teachers are responsible educating students on the laws of matter and energy. High School Physics Teachers must prepare lesson plans, assign homework and create and grade exams to test students on the information they have learned. They are also responsible for working with parents, school administrators and other teachers to further the educations of all students.
WHAT YOU NEED!
Teaching High School Physics requires a bachelor's degree in Physics or a related discipline. In addition to a college degree, each state requires prospective teachers to complete a state-approved teaching certification program. Requirements for these certifications vary by state. According to the Physics Department at Illinois State University, prospective Physics Teachers may also require completion of a licensing exam, which will include questions on teaching skills and the basics of Physics.
