It's A Week to Appreciate!
While we continue to adjust and adapt to the ever changing world of pandemic teaching, one thing that hasn't changed here at Hedden is the great staff we have. This week marks the opportunity to acknowledge and thank two wonderful groups that impact our students and they are our teachers and our nurses. Students have been encouraged to reach out to both past a present staff that have impacted them. Please feel free to do the same sometime this week too;-)
Speaking of great teachers, we have the opportunity to get two of them, Ms. Meske & Ms. Keeler, back into their regular teaching spaces starting Tuesday of next week. Given the new guidelines for schools and social distancing, we are ready to safely get students back into both the Art and Music classrooms. Both teachers had been traveling to each classroom to give lessons, but now we will have the students transition to them. Students will move through the building following appropriate guidelines to get to the Art room.
Movement to the Music room, like PE, will all be done outside using exterior doors to help ensure student and staff safety. Both teachers will be communicating with classroom teachers regarding student supplies that should come during their classroom sessions. At this point we do not plan to make this transition the library and Ms. Foley and Ms. Gresswell will continue to support student in their classrooms during "library time".
Please take a look the rest of the newsletter along with our websites and feel free to reach out with question if you still have any.
