Come to our meeting!

South LA Roots May General Meeting

We just had our mixer, what's next?

Because South LA Roots is still taking it's baby steps, we'd like to continue to solidify what we stand for, and where we stand when it comes to us as an "organization". We'd like to talk more about what we learned at the mixer as far as young adults concerns, and really hone in on specific issues when it comes to education, workers rights, and development. We will be defining these issues.

Also we'll be planning our retreat for those interested in seeing how creating an organization works! Come on down, and be a part of positive change in your community! We got work to do!

6:30-7:00PM - Talk about what we learned at our mixer as far as issue concerns, and pinpoint what issues we'd like to focus on when it comes to education, development, and workers rights (possibly adding another and taking some away depending on what we learned at the mixer).

We are South LA Roots

We are a group of young adults taking charge to eliminate inequality and disparity in south LA.

We're here to inform and organize young adults on issues impacting south Los Angeles residents, and provide creative vehicles to carry out social action.
