Health Office
Parents/Guardians,
Since school has started, we have had multiple variations of pills being turned into the
health tech office at the middle school. This is a reminder to please not send your students to
school with medication of any kind, even over the counter. If your student needs medication, a
form can be filled out by you and your student’s healthcare provider and turned into the front
office, along with the medication in the original box with the student’s name on it. If you would
like this form, or have any questions, please email solson@mssd14.org. Thank you for your
understanding.

MSES Maniboo Halloween Carnival
Maniboo is a Halloween carnival that MSES does each year to promote community and fun. This fundraiser has traditionally brought together students from MSHS and MSMS to help support our littlest learners. This year the event will take place at MSES on October 28th from 4:30-7pm.
Elementary students come dressed in their Halloween attire and participate in carnival-like games.Games include activities like: fishing, ring toss, cake walk, fortune telling and face painting. We are open to new ideas too!
We are looking for 20-30 student volunteers to help us on October 28th in two hour increments from 4-6pm and 6-8pm.
Email Ms. Masone or Ms. Luggie for more information:
6th Grade Snack Sign-up:
6th graders eat lunch early, at 10:05am, so they tend to be hungry towards the end of the day. PAC is helping organize snacks for the 6th graders so they can focus on their afternoon classes. The big boxes of snacks they sell at Costco or Sam's are perfect. Please consider signing up using the QR code below.
Coffee Sign-up:
The PAC is coordinating K-Cup coffee donations for the staff of MSMS and MSHS and our Bus Drivers. Please consider signing up using the QR code below.

Tech Tips
October is Cybersecurity month! It is important to understand some cybersecurity basics in order to protect yourself and your data in an ever-growing online world. Our tech tips for this month will revolve around these cybersecurity basics.
Password Management:
Password can be difficult because we all have many online accounts to keep track of (banking, email, social media, etc.). Below are some password management tips for securing your accounts:
- Use different passwords for every account
- Use a password management software (store your passwords securely, and many provide a way to back-up your passwords and synchronize them across multiple systems)
- Use multi-factor authentication when available
- Make your password complex, but still easy for you to remember (include upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special characters)
- Avoid using passwords that are easy to guess (children and pet names, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.)
If you have any technology questions or concerns, please contact our media tech, Kolt Woofter (kwoofter@mssd14.org).
