SBS Weekly Update
Sunday, January 13th - Saturday, January 19th
Dancing and Penance
On Friday night our Jr. High students gathered for their first dance of the school year. Thank you to Mrs. Gaziano-Neel and Mrs. Bobbin for organizing a great night.
It was wonderful to spend time on Saturday with our second graders as they performed the Sacrament of First Penance. Thank you to all of their Parents, Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Cleary for ensuring the students were well prepared.
We still have "Open House" yard signs available in the school office. We appreciate the help in spreading the word about our Open House on Sunday, January 27th.
I sent out an email last week that shared some information about two illnesses we had spreading through-out the school. Please continue to assist us in being proactive, if your child exhibits a fever or signs of a stomach virus place keep them out of school until they have no symptoms for 24 hours. Additionally, please make sure to notify the School Office if your child will be absent or tardy.

Re-Enrollment for Current Students
Re-enrollment is now available under the "Family" section of your FACTS SIS (RenWeb) account. There is still one glitch, which does not allow you to pay the re-registration fee online, which we are working on correcting. The system does allow you to complete all other areas so you can begin the process and make payment later when the system is corrected.
Re-enrolling is important, as it helps us plan for next year and determine tuition. If you are not re-enrolling for the 2019 -2020 school year please notify the office.
Go Bless,
Matthew Collins
Principal
Financial Aid for 2019 - 2020 School Year
Saint Bridget School offers financial aid through the generous support of the Catholic Schools Foundation, via the NOVA Scholarship Program. https://www.csfboston.org.
Last year families in our school received over $37,000 in aid!
SBS has applied to be able to offer the NOVA Scholarships for the 2019 - 2020 school year. We expect to know by February 27th if we are able to offer new NOVA Scholarships.
Financial aid is only available to students in Kindergarten through Grade 8 and is need based. If you are interested in applying for financial aid you must complete an application for financial aid using the FACTS Tuition Management System. You will need to submit your completed 2018 tax information. You can start the process of applying prior to having completed your taxes. When your 2018 taxes are completed you can then upload the information.
If your child/ren received a NOVA scholarship last year, you must re-apply and continue to demonstrate financial need in order to retain the scholarship.
In order to be eligible for aid, families must complete the application and demonstrate financial need. If a need is determined within FACTS, the school office will reach out to you to navigate the remaining financial aid process.
If you have any questions about the process please feel free to reach out via email at mcollins@stbridgetschool.us or via a phone call (781)-878-8482.
