What is poverty?
Being in poverty means to be extremely poor and over half the population of earth is currently living in poverty. People in poverty usually have to live off of about 1 to 2 dollars a day and those people are mainly from Africa and Asia. People living in poverty are usually living in very poor living conditions and they develop very serious diseases and most likely die. People in poverty have no education and they struggle to get money and they work very hard and they receive very little amounts of cash in return.

What is the goal of the club?
The goal for this club is to spread awareness of poverty by telling people what it is, who is effected by it, where it's mostly occurring, and how are people dealing with it. We also want to inform people that there are individuals out there that are having very difficult lives and they're struggling to get money to support there family.
How will I know if my club brought awareness about this issue?
I will know if my club brings awareness about this issue if many people show up, if people seem very excited when they're in my club, and if the club saves up a lot of money during the charity events. If many people show up to my club then I would know that people are interested in learning more about poverty and I would know that people are benefiting from the club and they are learning about how they can help someone that is currently in poverty. If I see that people become excited to enter my club then I know that people want to know how to make a difference in the world and I know that people are enjoying the club and they are probably going to encourage their friends to join to and the club would expand. If I see that during my charity events that we are saving up a lot of money then I know that the club is working very hard to raise money and I would know that the members know the difficulty the people in poverty are having and they're struggling to get money so, the members of my club want to help and use the money that they raise to save lives. In conclusion, I will know if my club brings awareness about poverty if many people attend the club, if people seem excited to attend my club, and if the club raises a lot of money during the charity events.
