I bake a Jachnun


The Supplief are:


2/3 soft margarine package

1 kg flour

1 baking powder

1 tsp salt

5 tbsp sugar

4 cups boiling water


what you need to do:


Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar, add water and leave to absord. Then leave for 10 minutes to cool slight. After 10 minutes kneading to from a ball and oil well. Wrap in plastic bag and refrigerate for 2 hours.


Remove from the refrigerator and roll out to a large rectangle. Spread over 2/3 of the dough

soft margarine. Fold the dough so that the "dry" cover the spread and over the third part. Then fold both toward the middle, direction to fold on each other . Divide the dough in half and wrap each part in plastic wrap.

Refrigerate overniht (or for at least 5 hours).


Flatten each dough rectangle, cut to length and divide each section into 4 pieces (total 8 pieces). Flatten each peace and roll it. Put one roll next to each other (and total of 4 floors) in oil Jachnun pot.


Bake at medium temperature (180 degrees) for1+ 1/2 houers then turn the heat to 100 degrees and continue to bake overnight or at least 8 hours.
