This Week's News
Thank you all for a very successful Family Game Night! I heard many positive comments from our families!
Judith will be here on Tuesday (March 10th). Please sign up for a time to meet with her if you are interested. She will not be leading team meetings this week. If there is a time that you would like to meet with her and she is not available please let Jessica know, I can make some arrangements. She can help problem solve students, create a plan, observe a student, model triage or processing, lead a class meeting, etc. She has a wealth of knowledge, so lets utilize her. Sign up here:
PD Council Chair: Ridgeview needs a new PDC Rep beginning next school year. It is a 3 year term, and you get a stipend each year. Your responsibilities include going to a few 1/2 day PDC district meetings, have a few quick check-ins with new teachers, mentors and advisors, work with Laura to make sure our building % funds that we use match our SIP, and help maintain our building 1% budget. If you have any questions or are interested in this position, please contact Charissa Craft by Friday, March 20. The decision needs to be made by the beginning of April because you will be attending the last PDC district meeting with Charissa (afternoon of April 16). Thank you!
SST Meetings
Next Thursday March 12th we have a sub coming in the afternoon to cover classrooms so we can meet for SST. We still have a few time slots open. Please email Jessica if you would like to get someone set up that day. This is a great way to problem solve a student and try out some different interventions .
EPiC Visits: The "What If" excitement is spreading! All grade levels are planning visits to EPiC or have already gone. I was told by their staff that RV teachers are some of the most appreciative and open-minded visitors they have. :)
