Spelling Bee Results
The eighteen district spelling bee finalists put on quite a show of academic excellence.
Congratulations to Zayne Lineberger of Windsor Middle School for capturing the win at the 2018-2019 Weld RE-4 Oral Spelling Bee. In round 15, his competitors faltered on babka, eulogy, and beleaguer, while he correctly spelled metaphor and cilantro. In a fierce pursuit for the two remaining spots for state, Matthew Rodgers, 2017-18 Scripps National Spelling Bee participant from Severance Middle School, fumbled with kovsh, ending in fourth place. Springbok proved out of reach for Windsor Middle School student Gregory Bucher, leading Windsor Charter Academy’s Rize Simmons to a successful second place finish as he tackled algorithm and efficacy.
Spellers Qualifying for the Denver Post Colorado State Spelling Bee on March 16, 2019:
Third: Gregory Bucher, WMS, correct spellings included dervishes, affidavit, Piedmont, trenchant

8th Grade Dedication Ads - Due February 1st
It's hard to believe that in a few short months, your student's stay at Windsor Middle School will be coming to an end. We are doing our best to put together a yearbook that will capture those memorable moments of their 8th grade year. However, try as we might, there is no way for us to express how proud you are of your son/daughter at this milestone in their lives.
But that doesn't mean that you can't tell them yourself. Proud Parents/Guardians can purchase space in the back of the yearbook to place a personal ad expressing your feelings.
All you need to do is simply go online to www.community.pictavo.com click Shop My School then enter Windsor Middle School. You will be able to purchase and design your ad here. Please make sure you SUBMIT the ad or it will not be published.
