What is a Virtual Assistant (VA)?

A VA is generally self-employed and provides professional administrative, technical, or creative (social) assistance to clients remotely from a home office.

What are the requirements or prerequisites?


  • Experience with Google Suite and Google Calendar is preferred; familiarity with Microsoft Office is beneficial.

  • Proficiency with task management programs along with communication programs.

  • Typing ability of at least 50 WPM with accuracy.

  • Social media experience is a plus.


  • Bachelor's degree or above

  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of administrative experience.

  • Clear, precise and professional communication skills - both written and verbal.

  • Ability to organize and effectively prioritize tasks.

  • Ability to multi-task with various programs and learn new programs as required.

  • Must have strong attention to detail, along with the ability to comprehend difficult tasks.
