Marking Period 1 Report Cards
The first marking period grades will be available on home access on 11/18/20. A hard copy of the report card will also be mailed home on the same day. Please look for it in your mailboxes by Friday November 20th. If you do not have your home access login please email Melanie.koli@bsd.k12.de.us for a password reset.

Thanksgiving Dinners
Families can register to pick up Thanks Giving Dinners on Monday November 23 from 11-12pm at Claymont Elementary, Hanby Elementary, Springer Middle School, PS duPont Middle School and Mount Pleasant High.

Borderless Classroom Attendance
Borderless Classroom allows teachers to connect to a live view of each students' screen while the student is logged into their classes. Each square in the above image represents a student who is present and participating in class. The teacher can see the student's' work, the websites they are on and can redirect them while they are live in class. The four gray boxes at the bottom of the image are students who are not logged in to their classes and are marked absent for the day.
Attendance Procedures
Reminder each teacher records the attendance to each class based on the student reporting to their class and participating in their virtual classroom. If a student is going to be absent a parent or doctor's note must be provided to the attendance secretary, Ms. Lisa Willis. We cannot accept a note or message from a student as verification of their absence. Please send your notes via email to lisa.willis@bsd.k12.de.us or you can drop it off to the school between 7am and 3pm Monday through Friday.
