COME TOGETHER IN PRAYER
PRAYER is a primary work of God's people. It is a vital connection to God where we can hear from, listen to, and respond to the Lord. We encourage you to pray for these requests during the week.
- "Our High School Mission Team finished their work at Miss Irene’s house, completing the fence project, repainting her shed, and building a bench for her yard. Last night, they hosted a BBQ at the church for some people in the church, as well as some of the kids from Streets Ministry. The people here are wonderful...our hearts are so full from the time we’ve been able to spend around them. The team is so energized, it’s a joy to watch them serve. Thanks for your prayers!" (Pastor Rob) Please pray for their safe return back to Tucson on Sunday.
Jessica Frederico is recovering from surgery.
Pray for Pastor Stu Wilson (retired) who has stage 4 prostate cancer.
Julie Babcock, sister of Jon Zaugra, will be having surgery on Monday. Please pray that the doctors remove all of the cancer.
Pray for Sonja Simpson, daughter of Jason and Lidia; that the family will find a doctor located nearby who can treat Sonja’s hip dysplasia.
Henry Sillik has been diagnosed with shingles.
Lois Anderson, sister of Art Braucksick, is still in the hospital in Ohio, but is no longer in a coma and is able to eat. Please pray for continued healing.
Protection for our military, law enforcement, first responders, revival in America, and God’s wisdom for the President and political leaders.
ELDER OF THE WEEK
-
Andy Griffis, his wife, Fritzi, and their adult sons Nicholas and Alexander .
PASTOR OF THE WEEK
Tim Arrington, his wife, Kathy, and their adult children Aubrey (Eleon) Rodriguez and Daniel (Ashley).
CHURCH OF THE WEEK
Pray for provision, as we own an old building and the cost of maintenance is a challenge. Also for clarity of vision; that we do not confuse stewardship and ownership.
MISSIONARY OF THE MONTH
UKRAINE: Josiah Venture
Tom Bouman and Cindyrae Stang will lead a team of 9 people to serve with our missionary Christy Owen (Josiah Venture) to put on a Fusion Music Camp in the Ukraine. They will be gone from July 10-24th.
Update from Mark Newhouse on July 20: "It was a great week of camp! 3 teens made decisions for Christ and another 7 indicated that they wanted to know more. We are on a 12 hour bus ride to Odessa with a concert tomorrow afternoon. Then we’ll do a mini concert at the church Sunday morning with another overnight trip (this time by train) back to Lviv. Pray for Ukrainian/Odessa church leaders to keep up with the campers and continue with what was started this week and for our team's travels to go well and the goodbyes not too painful." They return on Tuesday!
HAITI: Children's Hope
Lisa and Joe Sathre along with Pastor Erwin Klingenberg, will be leading a team to Haiti for a medical mission trip from July 20-27th. They will be partnering with Children’s Hope to provide medical care.
