The Principal's Office
Dear RNE Family,
It has been a an exciting week at RNE. We have had our Book Fair as well as celebrated our Bus Drivers.
Friday, October 27, we will host our annual storybook character dress up day. Students and staff will dress up as their favorite book character. Our Pre K and Kindergarten students will share their favorite books with the school during the storybook character parade.
I am already counting the days till the Fall Festival next weekend! Mark your calendars to attend!
Best,
Maureen
Congratulations to the winners of our Pumpkin Contest!
Thank you to all of our Career Day participants!

Harvest Festival November 5, 1-5 pm
We are so excited about this year's Harvest Festival and hope you are too. This is an amazing and fun event with lots of activities for everyone...but we can't do it without your help! Volunteers are a vital part of what makes this a success and we still need several spots filled.
Please clink on the link below to volunteer for a 1 hour time slot. You'll still have plenty of time to enjoy the festival!!
Calling all bakers...Don't forget we have a fabulous bake sale at the Harvest Festival too. Check out the link below to sign up to bring a baked good - or two - for the sale.
GIving Back
Looking for a way to get rid of all your Halloween Candy? This year the Harvest Festival committee has decided to donate Halloween candy to the Military, but we need your help! On Friday, November 3rd there will be a large bin by the front doors of the school, please send in all candy that you would like to donate and place it there. You can also bring your candy to the Harvest Festival and drop it off at the Prize Table. We are sure the troops are going to LOVE how much candy they are going to get from RNE!
Any questions please email Bethany Holod at bethanyholod@yahoo.com
Thanks -
The Harvest Festival Committee
Socktober Team
Hello Families!
Thank you to all that have donated to the Socktober campaign. We are on our final days and we are hoping for a strong turnout next Monday and Tuesday at the collection boxes. As the weather gets a little cooler, it would be nice for everyone to be able to put on a fresh new pair of warm socks to help keep them warm. Please consider spreading the joy and the warmth of a new pair of socks. Your donations are greatly appreciated.
Thank you from 4th Grade and the Socktober Team.
The Roswell North Foundation's Annual Campaign Has Begun!
Please consider participating in the Roswell North Foundation's annual campaign. Your contributions to the Foundation support expanding learning opportunities, increasing academic achievement, and helping students reach their full potential. Your generosity allows RNE to have a fully funded science lab with a certified instructor. In addition to funding the science lab, this year we are working to increase the number of iPads available in each classroom to better integrate technology in our children's learning.
The goal for the fall campaign is to raise $35,000 towards the annual budget of $92,500.
You can help us meet that important goal. Please help fund Roswell North’s science lab and its other educational needs with your contribution to the RNE Foundation. Give online at www.RNEFoundation.com or send in a check payable to the RNE Foundation using the form sent home in your child’s Friday folder. Ask if your Company may match donations to entities like the Foundation. The Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and donations may be tax-deductible.
