Erosion in Ocean City, MD?

What is Erosion?
Erosion is the process of eroding or being eroded by wind, water, or other natural agents and its happening in Ocean City Maryland! What can we do to stop it?
Sea Walls
One solution to beach erosion is to replace sand bluffs with sea walls. A sea wall is a wall or embankment erected to prevent the sea from encroaching on or eroding an area of land. This would help to hold sand in place preventing the sea from pulling in sand.
Groins or Jetties
Groins and Jetties are both a breakwater structure constructed to protect or defend a harbor, stretch of coast, or riverbank. Using either of these ideas would both prevent and protect our beaches from being destroyed by erosion.
Sand Replenishment
After using any of those solutions you still have traces of erosion all over the place so replacing the sand that was lost in the process would be a good idea. You could do this in two ways. One by shoveling sand from areas of the beach that are overflowing with it or by transferring enormous supplies of sand from other resources.
