OCTA Youth Ride Free Bus Pass has been Extended. New Passes Required: The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) has extended the program that allows youth aged 6 to 18 to ride OC buses for free to school, after-school activities, jobs and more.The Youth Ride Free Pass program started in September 2021 and was extended by the OCTA Board of Directors. The current “blue” pass will expire on September 30, 2022. The new “orange” pass will be effective now through September 30, 2023. To request a pass, please complete a Parental Request Form (available online here) and provide the completed form to Mr. Sam Lane or Ms. Lauren Yadon, IVA Counselors, who will provide your child with the free pass. Student Advisory Committee- We are looking for two IVA students to join the Student Advisory Committee (SAC). SAC was founded in 2018 to better connect with students related to key District Initiatives. Through the Committee’s work, the District is able to learn more about students’ perspectives and incorporate them into IUSD communications and programs.
