Principal’s Message
We continue to grow! We are starting this school year with 150 students, and we welcomed our largest Kindergarten class (24 students) in years. Not only that, but we added new students in several grades. To our new families: on behalf of the entire school, I would like to welcome you to our community. We are so glad you're here! To our returning families: thank you for your continued support and dedication to our fantastic school.
As I walked around the school this week, I reflected a lot on where we have been and where we are going. I was struck by how everything felt familiar and yet different at the same time. The ethos is still very much present, only intensified. If you haven't felt this yet, I think you may at Back to School Night. There is such a positive energy buzzing around the campus, and I look forward for everything that's to come for our students. We have a group of dedicated, passionate teachers who are going to make this year the best one yet.

We will have two sessions total, and the evening will wrap up at 7:05 PM.

Drop Off/ Pick Up Reminders
General Reminders:
Please watch your speech and drive slowly and safely. ABSOLUTELY NO CELL PHONES while driving.
Your child must be able to properly buckle him/herself up independently of anyone else in order to use the carline drop off and pick up. Parents may not exit their cars to assist their children with this, backpacks, projects, etc. This creates a major safety concern for all involved.
Children must exit and enter the car from the passenger side for their own safety.
If any of this is not possible, you may park in the front and walk in.
AM:
Extension opens at 7:00 AM each morning and is available to all of our students for an additional charge.
Children are not allowed to be dropped off until 7:30 AND until there is staff supervision. Please be sure that the staff is out there to supervise and that they are not just walking to another classroom or the office. Children left unsupervised will be signed in to extension, and your FACTS account will be charged. This is to ensure the safety of all of our students.
The gates will close at 7:55 AM each morning so that we can properly ensure the safety of our children. If you arrive after the gates close, you will need to park and walk your child in through the front office.
PM:
The gates will open 15 minutes before school lets out to allow cars to pull in.
Cars may pass other cars only when your car is done loading and you are exiting the campus. Please exercise caution when you do this.
Please pull forward whenever possible, but do not pass a loading car to move to a top spot.
Listen to the direction of staff at all times.
Students not picked up by 3 PM (or 12:15 on minimum days) will be signed in to extension, and your FACTS account will be charged. Siblings may not attend the school practices of their siblings, as they will not be properly supervised. They will be signed in to extension if their parent/guardian is not present.
Extension is available until 6 PM each night. Late pickups will incur late fees. See extension paperwork for more information.
