Buzz...

EHSL Families,

I apologize for the disproportionate amount of wait time on Help Desk this week. Again, I appreciate your patience while we figured this out as a district.

Your child's academic schedule should begin to look consistent. At 8:00 a.m. each morning, every class gathers on Zoom for a 30 minute community building session. This is followed by a mix of live (synchronous) and pre-recorded (asynchronous) lessons, plus independent practice (applied learning). Lunch is 11:00a.m - noon. School resumes from noon-2:00 p.m.with the same mix of learning opportunities.

In BSD, we teach using the following curriculum:

Reading and Writing: Teachers' College Units of Study

Math: Math Workshop

Science: Twig (More info coming soon. This is a new adoption)

Resources:

- SeeSaw Tutorial

- Family Toolkit

- SchoolMessenger settings

- Chromebook/ iPad: pay the fee, opt out if you qualify for free or reduced lunch, or not pay. The $20 insurance covers loss or damage.

2) Reserve a book online and we will have it ready for pick up in the office within 48 hours. If you do not see a notice in your child's EHSL library account within 48 hours, please email Mrs. Plew at susan_plew@beaverton.k12.or.us.
