Events and updates for the summer and 19-20 school year

It's summer!

I have attached the dates of clinics and information I have thus far! I will be updating this as more things become available.


Also our 19-20 tentative schedules are set. Please remember these are just tentative and will be confirmed at the beginning of August.

Bulldog Football Clinic

Incoming 7th & 8th graders

Hosted by the HS football coach Jamie Nelson with support of Middle School Coaches

June 5th & July 31st 5:30-7:00pm @ MCHS Football Field

Cost is $10 per day

Need- Cleats, Shorts, T-shirt, Waiver (Signed at camp), Sport physical (Current)

Girls Basketball

MCHS Coach Jim Loughran will be hosting for incoming 6th-8th grade girls

Monday, June 3rd thru Friday, June 7th 10am-12pm.

at MCHS gym

Cost is $30 and they will get a T-Shirt

Bulldog Fundamental Boys Basketball Camp

Monday June 10th-13th from 2-5pm at MCHS gym

Hosted by MCHS Head Coach Steve Maneotis, Staff and Players

Cost is $30/player

Need-Water bottle, game shoes

Mighty Dogs Volleyball Camp

Come join Coach Profumo and the MCHS Volleyball team

Monday July 29-Wednesday July 31

At the Moffat County High School gym


The focus of the camp is to develop fundamental volleyball skills at all

levels of play, from beginner to advanced in a fun environment.

Session 1: boys and girls entering 3rd - 5th grades 9am-10:30am

Session 2: boys and girls entering 6th - 8th grades 10:30am-12:00pm


How to register: Drop off registration form and check to either MCHS or Ridgeview Elementary before the end of the school year. Or to register by mail, please contact jessica.profumo@moffatsd.org. Registration is also available at the camp. (Please note a T-shirt will not be available without pre-registration)

CMS Athletic Night

Parents please come with your child. We will be hosting this event for ANYONE who will be participating in a sport during the 19-20 school. Sign ups for ALL sports will be at this time.


At this time you will have an opportunity to hear the CMS athletic expectations along individual coach expectations. FEE's can be paid and physicals may be handed in at this time.

Requirements to Participate in Athletics

All CMS Athletes must have the following information (all found on our website) completed and turned in to the main office before participation:

  • Online Waiver will be sent out in August (Will need Insurance Information)

  • Current Yearly Sports Physical: Form linked

  • Sports Fee

    • All 6th, 7th and 8th grade CMS students are subject to a fee for EACH sport in which they participate according to the Moffat County School District Board Policy 5570. A $50.00 Athletic Fee is expected to be paid before any equipment/uniform will be checked out. Students who qualify for Free and Reduced priced lunches must pay a $20.00 Activity Fee to participate. Students who voluntarily drop from an activity within ten (10) days after enrolling OR an athlete who becomes injured or ill will have the fee refunded on a pro-rated basis. Students who are dropped from a sport for sport violations will not receive a refund.

    • CMS has a max family participation fee of $200 per family or $80 for free and reduced.

    • Students who don't attend MCSD or are not enrolled in the MCSD shared school program will be charged an $25 per sport.

  • Athletes that do not have fees paid will not be able to participate in athletic competitions. This includes fees that will be charged to the account if uniforms are not returned.

Online Registration: Including Athletic Waiver

This years athletic registration will be part of the online registration process. You should be receiving and link by the beginning of August to complete this. Please make sure you have your child's physical date, insurance information and an idea of what sports they will be interested in for the year. If you are a homeschooled student you will need to come into CMS to fill out the paperwork.
