What HJHS Teachers Do Differently
Our best resource is one another!
The Pineapple Project
Let's bring summer into the new school year! The Pineapple Project is underway at HJHS and off to a "SWEET" start! Seeing that the pineapple is a symbol of hospitality. So, it is proper for it to be our project logo. Teachers across our building are sending an open door invitation to their peers to come observe to see all the wonderful things taking place inside their classrooms.
Don't forget to go by the mailroom today and share your lesson date with us!
A GOOGLE CLASSROOM code has been established to share strategies that work or just celebrate something observed throughout the year!

Book Study Chapter 1 In Review
Book Study Chapter 1 In Review...Why Look at Great?
We can learn from everyone we meet...what we should do/what we shouldn't do,what works/what doesn't work, etc. As we implement our "Pineapple Project," we are improving our craft to find what is best for our students and learning from our peers at the same time. We do not have to be a "cookie cutter" mold of one another;however, we can share strategies to "raise all of the boats" in the school.
DON'T BE SHY! TAKE THE FIRST STEP AND PLACE AN INVITATION ON THE PINEAPPLE CHART! I CAN'T WAIT TO EXPERIENCE ALL THE EXTRAORDINARY THINGS GOING ON AT HJHS!
