August 2018 RAMS Issue 1

Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! Parents/guardians, you are our partners that help us provide the best educational opportunities for every student at WCMS. We encourage you to participate fully in your child's school experience - our doors are always open to you!

Homeroom begins daily at 8:00 AM. We offer additional morning instruction beginning at 7:30 AM if your child is struggling in any academic area. Please make every attempt to ensure that your child is at school on time and ready to learn daily.

We look forward to a successful school year with your child! On behalf of all our faculty and staff, we welcome you back to school! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 229-776-8620.

Sincerely,

Tiffany L. Sevier

Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up Area

All parents MUST pull through the front driveway to pickup students. All parents should be considerate of other drivers in the line and move forward with traffic to avoid leaving a large gap in the pickup line.

Please pull your vehicle up to the last WCMS employee standing nearest (Isabella Street).

Cell phones are not allowed in the afternoon pickup area! They will be taken up!

Year long school fundraisers (all proceeds benefit WCMS)

The WCMS Title I Meeting will take place on August 30 at 6 pm in WCMS Cafeteria. Please make plans to attend and learn more about our plans for this school year.

All Parents/Guardians are encouraged to sign up for Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Infinite Campus will allow you to track your child's attendance and grades throughout the 2018-2019 school year. If you have questions about signing up, please contact Ms. Trina Green by phone at 229-463-3082 or by email at tgreen@worthschools.net.

Title I Resource Center
