Our Mission

“Everton Elementary School, with the support of a community that values education, effectively utilizes all resources to insure a safe, harmonious atmosphere where all students learn essential skills, are challenged to reach their potential, and are motivated to become creative, lifelong learners and healthy, responsible citizens.”

We have several events and activities planned for American Education Week. A list of those can be found in your student's Friday Folder. I do want to emphasize two of the events here:

Grandparents Day (November 13)

This is a special time for students to spend a little time at school with their grandparents. A form is included in every student's Friday Folder. Please complete this form if your student will be having a grandparent join us. We want to make sure that we have proper accommodations for everyone for lunch.

Science Showcase/Math and Science Night (November 14 6:00-7:30)

Science fair projects will be on display in the school gym. Stop by and see all the amazing work our students have done! Teachers will also have math and science activities available for families.

We were close to making the goal by selling 923 items. Mrs. Schlichte's class sold the most items and will receive a pizza party.

Student Council Project

Student Council continues to collect items for a National Guard unit that is currently serving in Kuwait. Below is a list of some items that they can use and really enjoy. Please feel free to send these items in to school. Student Council will collect what comes in and then send out the packages. We have already sent one care package with what was collected in October. We would like to send the unit a care package in November and December. Any item you could send in would be greatly appreciated.
