I believe that this quote is portraying that anyone can be a hero. You do not have t be spiderman or superman, but just an ordinary person who finds strength to persevere in spite of obstacles. Beowulf, for example. He was a normal man who had to be brave to protect the people of the kingdom. He had overwhelming obstacles like Grendel and Grendals mother, but he was able to find the strength to persevere and overcome his obstacles to acheive his goals. Also, my mother, who is a hero everyday to me. She has been through extremely tough times in her life and has found the strength to move on and persevere.
Like in Beowulf, the protagonist is killed in battle after they accomplish their goal. After death, they are seen as a hero.
