Immunization/Shot Record
If your child needs to take medication at school, our Medication Permit Form must be completed and returned to Mrs. Castor along with the medication. Medication may not be sent with a child.
Students who have severe allergies and may need a epinephrine injector and/or antihistamines need to complete our Allergy Form and return it to Mrs. Castor with the epinephrine injector and/or antihistamine. Medication may not be sent with a child.
Students who have asthma and who require the use of an inhaler/treatment at school need
to complete our Asthma Action Plan. Medication may not be sent with a child.
Normally, these forms were due at what was previously called "Book Day, " but you can can by-pass the lines this year at Cougar Nation Night and bring the forms, medication, etc. to Mrs. Castor on Thursday and Friday afternoons of this week and Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
Cougar Nation Night (Back to School Event) - August 9
The St. Louis Campus will open at 4:30 p.m. and families will have the opportunity to meet the teachers and visit classrooms from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The St. Louis Campus will close at 6:30 p.m. so everyone can head over to the stadium for the first school-wide pep rally.
Overview of what to do at Cougar Nation Night:
Families must enter through the FRONT ENTRANCE of the school and stop at the check-in table. After a family has checked in, they must:
- Pick up car tags at the Car Tag Table
- Visit the Nurse's Station to ensure your child's immunization and health records are up to date.
Families may then do the following, if needed:
- Sign up for our After-School Program
- Sign up for Lunch Program
- Purchase Spirit Shirts - $15.00 per shirt
- Pick up or purchase 2018-19 Yearbooks -
- Sign Up for Various Volunteer Opportunities
- See which classroom their child is in for the current school year
After the above is completed, families may proceed inside the school to meet teachers and visit classrooms. Pre-ordered school supplies will be in your child's classroom ready for pick up.
Fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grade students may set up their lockers. Locker assignments will be in the student's homeroom.
The Used Uniform Store will be open from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Store is located just inside the cafeteria.
Churros Time of Waco and Cha Tea (local food trucks) will be on campus selling their delicious sweet treats and drinks. There also will be activities for the families.
Reicher's Field Crew will be serving delicious hamburgers beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the concession stand located in the football stadium and then at 6:45 p.m. both campuses will come together in the football stadium for the pep rally.
