Pro-Life School News

The Walk for Life Fund Raising campaign is well underway. We have been working hard on making this a fun and exciting time as we celebrate the gift of life.

Wardsville Walk for Life

Can you believe that the Wardsville Walk for Life is only 12 days away? The Pro-Life Committee hopes that your child(ren) have been enjoying all the activities we have done so far as we prepare for the big day. This will be a historic day as it marks our 45th Wardsville Walk for Life.

The Wardsville Walk for Life is an annual fundraising event that supports 7 Pro-Life Agencies. This year's walk is scheduled for September 25th. The Walk will proceed after the 10:30 am Mass from St. Stanislaus Church to the Lions Hall on Rt. M. There are many activities the day of the event as well as many activities leading up to the event. This is the Pro-Life Committee's largest fundraiser of the year. The committee appreciates your support and attendance.

Pro-Life Poster Contest

New for this year's walk... students are encouraged to make and bring their own unique Pro-Life Poster. Each poster will be entered into a contest upon arrival at the Wardsville Lions Club. There will be three prize categories, they will be....

Best Pro-Life Message

Most Artistic

People's Choice (People's choice will be determined by those in attendance, you will vote with donations to your favorite poster)

Penny Wars

To date, we have raised $947.43 of our $1500 penny war goal. The top three point earners as of Tuesday, 9/13 are... 3 year olds (1052 points), Kindergarten (944 points), and First Grade (698 points). Penny Wars continues through the end of the day on 9/16. Remember that kids may bring more than pennies for this game. All pennies are positive points and coins that your child will want to drop in their classroom's jar. All silver and paper currency is negative points that your child will want to drop in the jar of another classroom. It has been fun watching the excitement in the air as the kids catch on to this game and form their strategies. We appreciate your continued support.

Pledge Forms and Donations

Pledge forms and donations may be submitted to the school office prior to the walk. Or you may submit your pledge forms and donations at the Lions Club on the day of the walk. If you need a new pledge form, you may print one from the parish website.
