MAP Testing 3rd and 4th Grade
In a few weeks, students in grades 3rd and 4th grade will be participating in the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) Grade-Level Assessments.
General Information about the Missouri Assessment Program Grade-Level Assessments
The Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) Grade-Level Assessments evaluate students’ progress toward the Missouri Learning Standards. The MAP Grade-Level Assessments include assessments in the subject areas of English language arts (grades 3-8), mathematics (grades 3-8), and science (grades 5 and 8). MAP Grade-Level Assessments provide important information that contributes to decisions concerning individual students, groups of students, and educational programs. MAP testing was canceled last year state-wide due to the pandemic. This will be our 3rd and 4th grade students' first time taking the assessment. OUr students are in the process of taking the Practice MAP test to prepare them for the format and question types that they will see on the actual MAP test.
We do want parents of students in grade 3rd and 4th grade to get these dates on their calendars so that we can assure students will be in attendance.
